Kiang Wu Nursing College of Macau (KWNC) held the ‘100th Anniversary Concert’ on the evening of 20th November at the Macao Cultural Centre Grand Auditorium. 

A 100-person choir, solo singing, and musical instrument performances conjured up the spirit of angels in white, patriotism, love for Macao and the College. At the same time the concert was a way to thank Macao society for the love and support of a century.

As a magnificent start of celebratory activities, more than 800 representatives from the Kiang Wu Charitable Association, the Government, universities, secondary schools, associations, clinic placement venues, and units that are collaborating with KWNC, also teachers, students, staff, and alumni of the College celebrated together.

On behalf of the Kiang Wu Charitable Association and the College Council, the Chair of the College Council Lau Veng Seng extended gratitude to the Motherland, the Liaison Office of the Central People’s Government, the Macao Special Administrative Government, various local and non-local social organisations, all sectors of society and the media for their long-term support and assistance for KWNC.

11 pieces of music and songs were played and sung. There were more than 150 performers. Among them, alumni in their 80s and students under 20 years old performed on the same stage.
