澳⾨鏡湖護理學院（學院）在 100 年的護理教育歷程中培養了眾多護理⼈才，他們中有部分⼈在海外從事護理⼯作。本⽂作者採 訪了他們中的⼀位代表—在美國從事幾⼗年前線護理⼯作的潘佩瑜校友。潘校友回顧⾃身四⼗餘載護理相關培訓與⼯作的經歷，歷數在不 同國家從事護理的往事，從被媽媽安排進入護理職業、到迫於⽣計從事護理、再到真正接納護理、喜愛護理的⼼路歷程。在多年臨床護理 ⼯作中，潘校友持續反思護理意義，將母校習得的關愛理念融合到臨床實踐，強化專業身份，也對現今學院「從⼈到仁」的教育理念有了 更深刻領悟。

Kiang Wu Nursing College of Macau have cultivated many qualified nursing talents in the past 100 years since it was founded. The authors interviewed one of the alumni, Pui Yu Poon, who worked as a clinical nurse in the United States for four decades. She recalled her career journey of studying and working as a nurse in several countries: from her mother's arrangement to study nursing, feeling pressured to do nursing as a way of living, to fully accepting and enjoying nursing career. She had consistently considered what it meant to be a nurse and integrated the nursing values learned from her early training in Macau into clinical practice in different cultural settings. She had also strengthened her professional identity by constant reflections and continuous clinical practices, and gained a deeper understanding of the philosophy of "From Personhood to Benevolence" advocated by Kiang Wu Nursing College of Macau during her long-term front-line practice.
