The 22nd Students' Union and Sub-club of Students' Union holds the 22nd inauguration ceremony for its new leadership
Kiang Wu Nursing College of Macau (KWNC) Students' Union and Sub-club of Students' Union held the 22nd inauguration ceremony for its new leadership. The members of the new Student Union and its sub-club took the oath of office under the witness of many guests, students and teachers of the College as well as representatives of student unions of various associations and higher education institutions.
The event was graced by the presence of representatives from the Macao Liaison Office, the Education and Youth Development Bureau, Hospital Centre S. Januario, Kiang Wu Hospital, the College Council of the Kiang Wu Nursing College of Macau, the President, Vice-President and numerous instructors of the College, instructors of affiliated organisations, and representatives of various friendly societies.
In her speech, Vice-President of Kiang Wu Nursing College of Macau, Ng Wai I, suggested that the new Student Union consider adopting the College's educational philosophy of 'From Personhood to Benevolence' and exploring ways to enhance whole-person education to support students in their all-round development. She encouraged the Student Union to continue to unite students on campus, provide colourful extra-curricular activities for the College students, promote the concept of health, and actively serve the community and make contributions.
In their speeches, Hoi Lok Hin (President of the new Student Union General Assembly) and Ao Hoi Tong (President of the Student Union) expressed their gratitude to the Liaison Office of the Central People's Government in the Macao SAR, the Government of the Macao SAR, the College, and all the friendly organisations for their continuous support and encouragement.
They also expressed their sincere gratitude to all the members of the Student Union for their dedicated efforts and unwavering commitment. The new Student Union is committed to working in collaboration with all stakeholders to promote the continued development of the Student Union, create more opportunities for students to participate in society, and foster a more vibrant and diverse campus life. The Student Union has also expressed its readiness to collaborate with the SAR Government's policy on medical and healthcare, and to contribute to the development strategy of the national healthcare industry, with the aim of supporting Macao society.
