因新型冠狀病毒肺炎的發起和擴散，澳門地區迅速行動，外防輸入，內防社區傳播，效果卓著，至2020年8月7日，澳門僅出現44例輸入個案，2例輸入關聯個案，未出現社區傳播。本文介紹澳門地區結合本地特點在預防社區傳播方面的具體措施，包括穩定口罩的供應、多渠道發布疫情資訊、限制跨境人流、避免市民不必要的外出聚集。文章指出，澳門一系列的社區防疫政策得到了市民的響應，也取得了理想的效果，但在疫情常態化的背景下，澳門地區仍有必要檢視防疫不足，完善防疫策略，以保持在面對周邊地區疫情反覆情況下，無社區傳染的成績。

Because of Corona Virus Disease 2019 (COVID-19) has spread worldwide, Macao responded quickly to this new infectious disease and has enacted a range of preventive strategies since January 2020, aiming to curtain imported cases as well as community transmissions. As of August 7, 2020, there were 44 imported cases, 2 import-related ones, and no community-transmitted ones in Macao, reflecting the effectiveness of the preventive strategies. This article describes the measures taken by the Macao government to prevent the community transmissions, including supply of masks for all residents, disseminations of preventive measures through multiple channels, restrictions of cross-border flow of people, and prevention of unnecessary gatherings. These strategies received well responses from the public. However, in the context of normalization of the epidemic situation, it is necessary for the Macao government and residents to review the current strategies and identify the weaknesses so that improvement can be made. Only when continuous efforts from the whole community are made, can Macao maintain a record of no community-transmitted cases, when there are re-surges of COVID-19 cases in the neighboring regions.
